Rileys Kids Camp is coming to... AWSWORTH
We've got an action packed 4 days planned at Awsworth Village Hall, and we can't wait for your little ones to join us. From dodgeball to archery, nurf wars to hockey, there is something for everyone. We'll be busy running Christmas craft sessions and of course, snow ball fights (YES that's right!), and lots and lots of Christmas music!
Our Christmas jumper day will be on Wednesday 22nd December, and our annual Christmas Cracker party will be on Thursday 23rd December. Our party is the best in town, lots of Christmas games, prizes to be won and presents to give out to children on Santa's good list.
About Rileys Kids Camps
Guarenteed fun for your little ones
Rileys Kids Camps offer exciting, fun filled days EVERY half term at Awsworth Primary School. Children aged 4+ are invited to attend, from any school in Nottingham/Derbyshire.
If you're looking for child care, that is affordable, fab value for money and will leave your little ones tired out, telling you all the fun things they've done in the day and telling you all their new friends names... then Rileys Kids Camps is for you!
Our days are scheduled with varied sports such as benchball, dodgeball (kids fave), hockey, cricket, basketball and of course football. We also have archery, play games like 'Capture the flag' and 'Treasure island' as well as free play.
Not forgetting our arts & crafts hour most days! From making rockets, designing your own outfits, spaghetti tower building and battle ship building out of recycling... we do it all!
Your child(s) safety is our top priority. All Riley's Kids Camp staff are hired through Riley Sport & Fitness and are fully DBS checked, hold a degree/relevant qualification in Sports/Teaching or are in training. The head coach on each day holds a full safe guarding qualification and are first aid trained. We have a full Covid risk assesment and have protocols in place to ensure we are Covid safe. You can find our protocols below.
Spaces are available on a first come first served basis and are capped at 60 children per day to ensure safety and staff ratios are suitable. We operate in bubbles of 15 children, capped at 60 children per day.
To book your child(s) onto one of our Kids Camps, please fill in the online booking form above and complete payment.
Get to know our team
Get to know our dedicated team of Kids Camp Coaches.
We only hire THE very best Coaches at Rileys Kids Camps. Most of our Coaches are actually Teachers in term time, or are in training to become Teachers! We look for certain qualities when hiring our staff...
1. Are they FUN?
2. Can they play dodgeball?
& 3. Are they LEGENDS
Blayne is top boss and founder of Rileys Kids Camps and Riley Sport & Fitness. In term time, Blayne delivers Primary P.E across multiple schools in Derbyshire & Nottinghamshire, as well as interventions and programmes in Secondary schools AND runs boxing for fitness classes. He has TEN years experience in coaching and is loved by parents and kids alike! Blayne has a Degree in Sports Coaching (BA Hons), holds a full DBS and safeguarding certificate and first aid trained. He's the go-to man for EVERYTHING!
Alex is Blayne's sidekick, and is chief planner and organiser! In term time Alex teaches PE at Loughborough Grammar School. Alex holds a full DBS, a Degree and relevant teaching qualifications but most impressively, he is KING at dodgeball and is always on the winning team.
You can catch Alex on the front desk at registration, meeting and greeting the kids and parents. He's ALWAYS bopping his head to the latest banger.
Emma is our youngest (and coolest) of our Coaches at 18 years old, currently studying A Levels at the Kimberley School in PE, Psychology and Business.
Emma aspires to go to University to study Sport and Exercise Science and then go on to be a PE teacher! She is competitive swimmer and is so excited to be a part of Riley’s Kids Camp!
We are so buzzing to have Rachel join our team! In term time Rachel is a Teaching Assistant at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School with a big focus on sports.
Rachel loves promoting and engaging children in sports in fun and excitable ways! Her love lies with dance, archery and anything competitive!
Meet Lucy. Lucy works as Teaching Assistant in Sport at Loughborough Grammar School during Term time. Fun facts about Lucy: she has 52 caps for Hockey for England and Great Britain, she is a qualified nutritionist and she is in training for the Austria half ironman in August!
Meet Alix... our resident designer who designs all of our creative and social media content, she’s also chief organiser and fun co-ordinator, BUT her most important job is teaching Arts and crafts at Kids Camp! From making baubles at Christmas, to making 3D rockets and colouring competitions, we've done it all!
Don't take our word for it...
We asked the kids to describe our camps in 3 words

Grown ups love it too!
We asked the parents what they thought of our Kids Camps...
Blayne and his team have been absolutely fantastic with my children over the summer holidays and absolute lifesavers when it comes to childcare. Delilah and Rex really enjoy all the activities that they offer and are super excited to go and meet new friends. I couldn’t think of a better role model for them both and would 100% recommend
We are Covid prepared
We've been working hard to ensure we can return Rileys Kids Camps during the Covid-19 outbreak. We've set protocols in place to ensure a safe environment for your little ones.
We've created a safe environment for your little ones
Please click below to view our document regarding Covid-19 and full risk assessment. We have trained all staff to ensure all protocols are adhered to at all our Kids Camps.
We will be working in 4 bubbles during our Kids Camps, limiting spaces to 60 children, 15 per bubble. Your child will be assigned to Bubble A/B or C/D (when payment is taken), and provided with a sticker for visibility for Staff. Each bubble will be separate from the other bubble, have its own member of Staff, separate toilets and lunch areas. PPE will be worn if first aid is required, as well as regular hand washing throughout the day.
Staggered drop off and collection times for each bubble will be required to ensure Bubbles are kept separate.
See our Covid-19 documents below.

Casual loose clothing or sports wear is great. No denim or jewellery. Trainers are a must!
What is your cancellation policy?
Unfortunately due to staffing ratios, if you have booked a child on our camp we are unable to refund you as we will have already organised enough staff for the day.
What happens if my child has booked on and has to isolate due to Covid-19
If your child has to self isolate due to Covid-19, unfortunately we can't refund your balance, due to staffing ratios which are pre planned before our camps are held. However we can hold you balance as credit for camps in the future.
