Rileys Kids Camps offer exciting, fun filled days EVERY half term at Greasley Beauvale Primary School and Albany Junior School. Children aged 5+ are invited to attend, from any school in Nottingham/Derbyshire.

If you're looking for child care, that is affordable, fab value for money and will leave your little ones tired out, telling you all the fun things they've done in the day and telling you all their new friends names... then Rileys Kids Camps is for you!

Our days are scheduled with varied sports such as benchball, dodgeball (kids fave), hockey, Boccia, Lacrosse, cricket, basketball and of course football. We also have archery, play games like 'Capture the flag' and 'Treasure island' as well as free play and Nerf Wars!

Not forgetting our arts & crafts hour most days! From making rockets, designing your own outfits, spaghetti tower building and battle ship building out of recycling... we do it all!

We have introduced external companies to enhance our provision, which offers your little ones a broader variety of opportunities during their time with us ensuring we are a well rounded camp.

We are looking to use local companies who can bring their expertise in to our settings and provide workshops for our children across a variety of areas. To date we have used; Lions Learners, who is a local petting zoo showcasing a variety of reptiles and animals to our children. Jake Wood PT who provides workshops around health and wellbeing and food education. Minii & Maxii and CAD for Fashion, who deliver workshops around art and creative design. Zenefit Yoga, who deliver yoga and mindfulness workshops. Positively Empowered Kids who deliver workshops around mental health and well-being. We also use Polkadotplay for the hire of their bounce houses and inflatables duding our camps.

If you feel you could bring something unique to our camps, please contact us.

We've got a super useful tool to use to help your little one's understand their emotions and feelings. Download our free print here!

Get to know our dedicated team of Kids Camp Coaches.

We only hire THE very best Coaches at Rileys Kids Camps. Most of our Coaches are actually Teachers in term time, or are in training to become Teachers! We look for certain qualities when hiring our staff...

1. Are they FUN?

2. Can they play dodgeball?

& 3. Are they LEGENDS

Jordan

A big hello to HC Jordan! Jordan has a Masters degree (level 7) and is a Sports Coach for us @rileysportandfitness in term time.  This means teaching Primary PE, interventions and extra curricular activities.

Fun fact, Jordan has been known to do the worm in our dance-offs during campers vs coaches at camp! (and yes...he did lose, and the campers won!)

We asked the parents what they thought of our Kids Camps...

Lucy (Parent)

Blayne and his team have been absolutely fantastic with my children over the summer holidays and absolute lifesavers when it comes to childcare. Delilah and Rex really enjoy all the activities that they offer and are super excited to go and meet new friends. I couldn’t think of a better role model for them both and would 100% recommend

FAQ

How do I book on?

Fill out the online booking form (at the top of this age) and complete payment online. You will receive a confirmation email immediately and a text/email 48 hours before Camp starts to instruct you on arrival/departure details

How do I pay?

Through our online booking system at the top of the page! Super easy and stress free.

What time is camp?

Gates open at 8.30am. Our registration period is 8.30am-9am. At 9am the gates and doors are locked for the day and our Coaches begin briefing the children on the day ahead.

If you arrive late, you may have to wait outside until briefing finishes

The number for the Head Coach is on the door to call.

What age range can attend?

5 to 11 year olds!

Tiny tots at 5 years old need to be able to; follow instructions, be independent in going to the toilet alone and have great listening skills. Our ratio is 1:16, so they need to be able to independently enjoy the day without taking up 1:1 Coaches time.

Are the extra provisions included in the price?

Yes, all of our external providers, e.g yoga, petting zoo, bouncy castle and workshops are included. We schedule these in every half-term. We unfortunately cannot refund the place if the provider cancels due to unforeseen circumstances.

What do they need to bring?

A packed lunch and a mid morning snack! We will sit down for lunch at 12pm whilst watching a short film. A drink (we have a drinks fountain for top-ups) and plenty of energy!

What should they wear?

Casual loose clothing or sports wear is great. No denim or jewellery. Trainers are a must!

What is your cancellation policy?

Unfortunately due to staffing ratios, if you have booked a child on our camp we are unable to refund you as we will have already organised enough staff for the day.

We reserve the right to cancel spaces due to risk assessments of behaviour and ability at any time. If we deem a child not suitable to be managed on a 1:16 ratio, we will inform parents and guardians after assessment is undertaken. Full refund will be given in this case.

What happens if my child has booked on and is ill or has Covid-19?

If your child is ill and is unable to attend our camp on the days you have booked, unfortunately your payment is non-refundable. This is due to the nature of pre planning days/camps to accommodate staffing ratios.
