Welcome to your
Riley's Coach Zone

Everything you need to know as a Food Lead

We recognise that asking our Coaches to heat and serve food, may not be in their usual duties, however it's something we are required to offer as part of the HAF programme with local Councils. Food Leads are to hold a L2 Food Hygiene, their certificates to be displayed in the food prep area and understand and comply with any food policies we have. From Summer 2026, Chef Karl will be based at Camp Priory, and cooking all food for all camps, which will be delivered and stored, until Food Leads heat and serve the food. Chef Karl will give directions of how to cook and serve the food.

may not seem like an inherent risk, but it is. It can be the

difference between life or

Get Involved

Children can get involved in prepping veggies and fruit for lunch. The 'kids food prep box' has

children's knives etc.

You MUST read the risk

assessment. Sensible

children only, NOT in the kitchen area, set up quiet
