Compliance

Promoting the HAF

Programme

In your delivery of equipment, you will have marketing banners, flags or signs. It's important they're all displayed, if provided. If we are inspected, they will look for them.

Your Bible for the holidays

Each venue has a folder, which contains everything you need (this, and the iPad!). Visitors signing in sheets, stickers, wristbands, forms, certificates and more.

A phrase you will hear us say on repeat. As a team, conduct all safety checks FIRST, before chit-chat, fun, catching up and coaching. Brief staff, register, lock up, health & safety, wristbands and stickers and then move forward with the day.

Children Entering School

Focusing On Food

One of our most important jobs of the day. Ensuring GREEN wristbands are given to HAF children who's grown-ups have chose for us to feed them AND have NO allergies. 

We DO NOT cater for allergies - FULL STOP. 

Red wristbands for ALLERGIES - DO NOT SERVE. Check, check, check again.

Visual Timetables

We're purposeful about Riley's being inclusive. Using the visual timetable on the A-boards or a white board (if your venue doesn't have one) helps

some children process how the day is going to progress. Councils inspect this - please make it a priority.

Engagement Matters

Listening to your Campers on our 'Camper's Voice' resources matters. Food feedback, what they like, our rules - they all build a picture for children to remember us by. Please fill them in each week and update them.

Mindful Useage

We have lots of camps, that require using the same equipment. These will be collected during camps, and moved on. Please ensure electronics are charged, after use, chargers/pumps are sent with the equipment.

Riley's Rookie

If your camp has a 'Riley's Rookie' top, please rotate it each day! Give little helpers little jobs (e.g being the voice of the group, being captain, choosing what's next, carrying light equipment).

Uniforms and Lanyards

Wash inside out on 30 degrees (or less). No iron, no tumble. On your last day of work, please bring a change of clothes to give your uniform back.

Be Organised

A LOT of work goes into the production of 10 camps. Please look after your kit and resources. Keep things neat and tidy, boxes tidy, rubbish thrown away and things filled properly.
